A DAY FOR PAMPERING
A visit to the mineral baths in Saratoga Springs is always a treat. What better place to go for a little pampering than the Roosevelt Baths. There have been a few changes since the last time I was there, a most luxurious relaxation room that allows you to recline while listening to the water fall is new. The individual bathing rooms, however, remain in their historic glory.
The water itself looks a bit iffy doesn’t it? Don’t be put off by the color, it’s just the minerals. When you first slide down into the tub the effervescence is what takes you by surprise. That, and of course, your body, which keeps trying to float to the surface.
As I lay soaking, I thought about the many people before me who had lain in this tub and how grateful I am to be able to enjoy these waters today. My forty minutes was up much too quickly but I took my time, letting history and the mineral detox wash over me.
Peace,
Amy

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and appearance. I must say you have done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!
